Hi hope,

What a great link - great questions too. THANK YOU bigtime for posting this. The website says they will follow up with people who do not get
to have their questions answered on air - I wonder OCPD manager - have they done so?

They haven't got back to me yet ... maybe they only anticipated one question per viewer ... not 20! He did answer a few of them. I have maybe 10 more questions too, which I might send too. I don't know if I'll ever hear back from them. Pinto seems to pin his answers on established research -- he doesn't seem to want to talk about ideas or possibilities. He's in a position of authority so he has to be careful about just saying what he thinks. Too bad.

Sincerely, Paul

more questions ...

21. Is there a greater than normal incidence of obsessive love in OCPD?

22. In your experience is there lesser incidence of OCPD in homosexual men, as Freud posited in his 1908 paper? What about a greater or lesser incidence in lesbians?

23. Are the terms perfectionism or perfectionistic personality substantially the same as OCPD, so that they may reasonably used in place of saying OCPD?

24. What kinds of jobs do those with OCPD typically take?

25. Are there any famous people, alive or dead, who appear or appeared to have OCPD?

26. What are the main reasons those with OCPD seek treatment, i.e., what are their primary complaints?

27. What other psychiatric disorders besides OCD are most often comorbid with OCPD?

28. What other personality disorders are most often, and which are least often, comorbid with OCPD?

29. Is there a reason you sometimes use the phrase "personality condition" rather than "personal disorder" in discussing OCPD?

30. Is anorexia nervosa more closely related to OCPD or instead to the OC spectrum disorders, and why?
